Conservation & Journalism

Paul's work has been published in National Geographic, the Sunday Times, the Telegraph, the Guardian and a wide selection of European and South African Dive magazines. These days he tilts nearly all of his work towards marine and freshwater conservation projects around the world.

In 2016 the Superyacht Agency commissioned Paul to write for Blohm+Voss magazine about marine conservation and Fauna and Flora International also commissioned a portfolio of images to support the creation of a marine park protected area in Cambodia. This photobook was one of the project outputs. Paul is planning to join Fauna & Flora International again in 2018 to support conservation work in the central Americas (Nicaragua and Honduras).

Sidetracked Magazine published Paul's article about Ascension Island and National Geographic used his images to support a case by the Blue Marine Foundation for the biggest marine protected area in the Atlantic ocean.
